Role Overview
Stable Hands are responsible for the daily care, handling, and maintenance of animals and facilities, helping ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and monitor animals
- Clean stables, yards, and treatment areas
- Assist with animal handling and restraint
- Maintain equipment and facility cleanliness
- Observe and report animal health or behavioural concerns
- Support veterinarians and nurses as required
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with animals preferred
- Physically fit and reliable
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
